Sr. Database Administrator - Infrastructure

KBRA Holdings, LLC. is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join our Infrastructure team to support internal engineering and analytical teams by creating systems & services and providing guidance.

Skills

MS SQL Server administration
Performance Tuning and Optimization
Backups, restores, and recovery models
Complex SQL and T-SQL queries
Data Security and data protection
CI/CD pipelines implementation
Linux Operating System
Cloud architecture exposure
Container-based applications management
Python, PowerShell, MariaDB, MongoDB experience

Responsibilities

Help build Database as a service platform
Research and implement solutions for pain points in development cycle
Migrate legacy systems to newer cloud databases
Create Infrastructure as code solutions for Database provisioning
Work across multiple database technologies
Participate in Blameless Postmortems
Advocate for scalable, reliable, and secure practices
Mentor and collaborate with teams
Oversee all database operations including planning, monitoring, security configurations
Design redundant systems for disaster recovery
Help engineering team members with efficient queries
Collaborate with engineering teams for best data solutions
