Keeley Companies is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our IT Service Desk team. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned professional who is adept at providing both on-site and remote technical support across a range of IT domains. As an IT Support Specialist, you will act as a primary point of escalation for complex IT issues, offering your expertise to ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure and support processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key point of escalation for IT support issues, or assist with the daily ticket flow, providing high-level technical assistance both on-site and remotely. This includes troubleshooting complex desktop, network, and system problems, as well as implementing router and firewall configurations.
  • Demonstrate hands-on proficiency and expertise in managing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Windows, and printer setup and configuration.
  • Provide support for network-related issues, including but not limited to, router/firewall configuration and management, network troubleshooting, and the implementation of network security measures.
  • Actively collaborate with the IT team in the development and refinement of IT support processes, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Identify system infrastructure needs and provide insightful feedback for the development and implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Capable of operating autonomously or collaboratively on diverse IT-related projects, with responsibilities including the planning and execution of initiatives aimed at enhancing IT infrastructure and services. Ensure projects are completed efficiently and provide regular progress reports to management.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of issues resolved and processes developed, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity within the Service Desk Team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent level experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an IT-related field, with a proven track record of technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in Azure, Active Directory, PowerShell, Microsoft Exchange, router/firewall configuration and management, Microsoft Windows, and printer setup and configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex IT issues and devising effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and effective support to users, as well as collaborate with team members on IT projects and processes.
  • A proactive team player who can work collaboratively within the IT department and across departments to improve IT support and infrastructure.
  • Experience with CISCO networking. CCNA level with 5+ years’ experience. Proven ability to design and maintain LAN environment. Ability to configure and troubleshoot IPsec tunnels for secure network communication.

  • CompTIA A+
