Vice President of Business Development

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Business Development. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, identifying new market opportunities, and developing relationships that enhance our business portfolio. Your leadership will be essential in establishing a vision for our team and guiding us towards achieving our sales and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement effective business development strategies to accomplish corporate goals.
  2. Lead efforts to identify and engage potential clients and partnerships.
  3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  4. Evaluate market trends to inform strategic decisions and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development initiatives with overall company objectives.
  6. Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development efforts.
  7. Mentor and guide the business development team to maximize their potential and results.
  • At least 10 years of experience in business development or a related leadership role.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving growth.
  • Exceptional networking skills with a proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Experience in developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
