Buyer /Purchasing Specialist (King of Prussia PA)Our client (high-voltage batteries, the NEXT big-thing), is currently hiring a Buyer (This is a Maintenance Buyer role, managing the P.O. process). Candidates only interested in full-time, long-term, permanent employment should apply.Job DescriptionAttain and maintain appropriate inventory levels of raw materials and supply items.Partner with engineering, production teams when there are changes to products/BOMs and inform the vendors of the same.Purchase order management/Generation of PO’s.Effective follow-through to track on-time delivery.Maintenance of material reorder process (plus identification of areas for improvement).Communicate with vendors regarding requested dates of incoming orders to meet production demand.Create/maintain vendor information, including account numbers and order processes for each vendor.Partner with other cross functional teams as needed.PreferredHave MRP, ERP, and Excel proficiency.Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.2-5 years’ experience minimum.Bachelor’s Degree.Client specializes in High Power Wireless Charging for Electric Vehicles, EV and PHEV Charging Equipment, and Inductive Power Systems.
