Core Responsibilities
• Oversees Analysts for Problem Resolution
• Manages / Resolves part problems with minimum supervision
• Strong Negotiation Skills in the Timing of Manufacturing Production Tools
• Makes schedules and reports on the status of the program
• Produces documents that meet the criteria
• Represents the department at project meetings
• Require a proactive approach to managing parts versus are active
• Assists in training suppliers and new engineers on NTCNA pre-production procedures
• Review and analyze documentation submitted by the design department
• Evaluate program targets and countermeasures that have a significant impact on vehicle development
• Based on the master project plan, propose a necessary level of support for specific programs
• Manage meetings with our Colleagues in Japan, Europe &Mexico
• Strong drive to build a production-level vehicle during pre-production builds
Collaboration / Teamwork
• Communicates and negotiates with others (Suppliers, Purchasing, Vendor Tooling, Quality & Design)
• Manage overall Timing Analysis (Design, Tool Manufacturing Timing etc.)
• Coordinate JIT Delivery Schedules
• Determine if countermeasures are required (negotiate out of countermeasures)
• Demonstrates leadership when appropriate
• Demonstrates willingness to assume responsibility and handle tasks that might not otherwise fall within their area of responsibility
• Gives direction and guides others (internally and externally)
• Quality:
• Writes, analyzes, and modifies procedures
• Evaluates recommendations to improve quality and increase departmental efficiency
• Resolves complex workflow issues Strong Prioritization /Organization Skills
Continuous Improvement
• Make recommendations to improve problem resolutions.
• Identifies business requirements to improve workflow
• Makes recommendations on new systems and approaches to enhance efficiency in core area
• Develops Management / Executive Reports
• Resolves open issues internally and externally through written and verbal communicatio
