Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst Location: Remote Job Summary This position supports the management of global freight and warehousing by analyzing company and industry trends to recommend strategies and tactics to maintain the company’s position in strategic supply chain management. Reviews logistics processes and procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs. Reviews and analyzes transportation costs and performance and provides recommendations for improvements. Other responsibilities include supporting adhoc activities as defined involving aligning transportation and logistics functions with corporate initiatives. Key Job Responsibilities • Conduct transportation data analytics and cost research, identify areas of opportunity to reduce costs and/or delivery, lead and implement identified projects to contribute to the overall logistics performance and cost out goals. • Manage savings analysis for identified projects. • Support sourcing and other corporate functions with transportation data analytics on a project basis. • Work with internal and external partners to manage transportation networks. • Coordinate on adhoc freight quote requests and shipments as needed by the business. • Prepare monthly reports on operational and financial metrics. • Manage TMS system(s) and enhancements as needed, train users and maintain SOPs accordingly. • Manage the billing, error codes, exceptions and payment of freight pay and audit partner. • Manage freight claims process. Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates • Associate’s degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) • 5-7 years relevant work experience • SAP experience (preferred) • MS Office experience Equal Opportunity Employer
