Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South MariettaParkway, Marietta, GA 30060.Job SummarySupports the planning, design, and documentation of architecturalsignage on campus. Works closely with a cross-functional team.Focus on creating clear, intuitive way-finding solutions to enhanceuser navigation. The Junior Environmental Graphic Designer willleverage their expertise to create effective wayfinding solutionsthat help users navigate complex spaces with ease and clarity.Supports project management across multiple projects andcollaborates closely with in-house construction project managementstaff on environmental graphics for both non-capital and capitalprojects, ensuring that all deliverables are high quality andcompleted on time.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Works collaboratively with project managers, the design team,and university stakeholders to ensure designs align with PDCstandards and guidelines.2. Conducts site evaluations, including surveying existingconditions and taking field measurements.3. Develops architectural floor plans and signage message schedulesto determine optimal signage placement.4. Supports the maintenance of graphic design standards andguidelines for the university, promoting consistency across variousspaces and locations.5. Assists in creating digital prototypes and mockups forpresenting design concepts to clients and university stakeholders,gathering feedback and approval. Manages project budgets andprovides cost estimates for proposals, materials, andproduction.6. Oversees the installation of diverse two- and three-dimensionalsigns that provide identification, direction, information,interpretation, and aesthetic enhancement across the campus.7. Reviews construction drawings from in-house teams and externalconsultants to ensure alignment with project plans and effectiveuse of design elements.8. Performs additional related duties as required.Required QualificationsEducational RequirementsBachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, interiordesign, architecture or relevant work experience in a relateddesign discipline.Other Required QualificationsCurrent, valid, and unrestricted driver's licenseRequired ExperienceTwo (2) years of environmental graphics-related experience.Preferred QualificationsPreferred Educational QualificationsAn advanced degree from an accredited institution of highereducation in a related fieldProposed SalaryThe budgeted salary range is $52,900 to $60,000.
