Business Intelligence & Process Advisor, RCM

The Business Intelligence & Process Advisor, RCM is a senior team member who assists Kestra RCM leaders in gaining operational insight by creating reports and dynamic visualizations; their analytical outputs will aid in directing overall team strategy and setting performance objectives. This position works closely with the VP, RCM to build and predict business opportunities, develop process-optimization pathways by defining workflow solutions, and support end-to-end RCM functional areas including intake, benefit verification, prior authorization, billing, and collections. This role will also assist in managing projects related to these functional areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Assist team leadership in developing and executing overall RCM operations strategy and performance objectives
  • Ensure establishment of and adherence to regulated compliance processes and procedures
  • Improve and optimize existing processes, policies, and procedures based on research and analytics; recommend new opportunities to increase revenue realization and improve cash flow
  • Provide consultative expertise to cross-functional teams on strategic priorities and act as a resource for revenue cycle activities
  • Participate in the development of data, process, and workflow strategies in collaboration with the Kestra IT team
  • Partner with departmental stakeholders to understand business objectives and the data needed to support effective operations
  • Organize, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights, ensure accurate revenue forecasting, and drive strategic decision-making
  • Create data visualizations, dashboards, models, and custom reports on performance of the revenue cycle team; prepare and present data to Kestra leadership
  • Configure and manage Sales Force.Com and Bonafide data including ability to create custom reports and dashboards
  • Serve as a “working” project manager who can oversee all data development and also deftly perform hands-on activities

    • Information regarding a patient of this company shall not be released to any source outside of this company without the signed permission of the patient. Furthermore, information will only be released internally on a need-to-know basis. All Team Members will not discuss patient cases outside the office or with anyone not employed by this company unless they are directly involved with the patient’s case.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience Required:

  • BS or BA required, preferably in Business
  • Minimum of 10 years’ work experience in RCM operations
  • Experience using data from order to cash systems
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including advanced skills such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP across data sets, and nested IF formulas
  • Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, as well as database and automation tools such as SQL, Alteryx
  • Must have the highest ethical standards and personal integrity
  • Experience using cloud-based order to cash systems, as well as other systems such as SalesForce
  • Expert user in Microsoft Office, including Teams

PREFERRED:

  • MBA
  • Workflow management experience
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Prior experience in medical technology or other life science industries

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Fast-paced, dynamic work from your remote workstation
  • Extended hours when needed, including nights and weekends

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Frequent repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers, such as keyboard and mouse usage
  • Frequent stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Frequent computer use
  • Frequent phone and other business machine use
  • Occasional lifting required, up to 20 pounds

TRAVEL:

  • Occasional travel, domestic, may be required, approximately 20%

Salary: Annualized between $154,250 - $177,000. Depending on experience and location.
