The data product team operates in an agile environment, working closely with business partners to perform due diligence on their state of data and analytics, prioritize the top opportunities, gather, and define requirements, design solutions, make recommendations, and deliver high value data solutions.This team is looking for a highly motivated, business & technology-focused, and results-oriented data senior analyst/lead to join the Data Product team.Reporting to the Head of Data Product, the Data Product Senior Analyst is responsible for delivering high priority data solutions to business partners and serving as a lead for a team of one or two data engineers and data analysts while being hands-on themselves. This role will partner closely with the business and technology partners and operate in an agile environment.EssentialJob Functions• Partner closely with the Data Product team and the business partners to conduct due diligence or assessment of current state of data and analytics needs.• Design data solutions and data products to meet the business needs and priorities of the business.• Develop programs and codes to create and maintain data products.• Gather data requirements and document data needs as part of solution development.• Review the data work team creates for accuracy and optimization.• Develop and optimize codes, datasets, and data products.• Provide direction to the team to devise best data and analytical methodologies to develop the data solutions.• Identify high value-add analytics use cases including data-triggered client experiences and performance monitoring.• Support development of solutions and recommendations and creation of artifacts to document them.• Develop reports and artifacts as needed for Data Strategy.• Provide updates to Data Product leadership team.• Work with other data product analysts and data product managers within the team to support prioritized initiatives.• Lead cross-functional discussions with partners.Qualifications• Master’s degree (or its equivalent) in Data Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Statistics (or other related field) with more than 3 years of relevant experience; or bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) with >4-5 years of relevant experience.• Strong technical capability in some of the coding languages to deliver hands-on work and able to provide guidance to the team on best coding practices.• Experience with data/coding languages/tools like SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, Power BI or others.• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.• Strong data or analytics background.• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in all phases of product initiative life cycle.• Experience analyzing complex data to support development of clear narratives and presentations.• Experience working in large data environments.• Experience working with financial services data or related data.• Ability to operate in an agile environment and deliver.• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting at all levels of the organization.Compensation And BenefitsThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $92,000 to $165,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee work spaces.
