We are looking for … an experienced, driven and entrepreneurial Regulatory Affairs Counsel, to ensure Keyrock is compliant with industry regulatory standards.
NB. although the role can be remote, we're looking for candidates who are based in a time zone within two hours + or - of CET.
Job description
Managing high quality deliverables for regulatory licenses;
Researching and analysing laws and regulations applicable to Keyrock;
Prepare regulatory and compliance reports based on the extensive collection, analysis, and summary of public information available;
Identifying and documenting regulatory and compliance risks to which Keyrock is exposed;
Delivering high-quality regulatory and compliance advice and challenge to the business;
Keep other departments, including markets, commercial, HR and other departments updated on regulatory requirements and documentation processes;
Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Compliance with the necessary analysed information regarding laws and regulations ;
Reviewing internal policies and procedures and recommend changes if necessary;
Preparing and delivering trainings.
Background and experience
4+ years in Legal Regulatory work
Knowledge of financial laws and regulations such as MiCA, EMD, PSD & MIFID
Understanding of capital markets and banking systems;
A relevant degree, preferably in business or law, is required;
A compliance qualification for example ACAMS or a Masters in a related field would be advantageous;
knowledge of the digital assets ecosystem and crypto currency regulation is a plus.
Competences and personality
Excellent research and analysis skills are needed to assess new and existing laws and regulations;
Project management skills including the ability to oversee the implementation of a complex regulation;
Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolution;
Strong attention to details;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization;
