It starts with YOU.The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) collaborates with human resources, legal and safety to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory programs such as OSHA, ADA, HIPAA and FMLA. They will also lead the implementation and delivery of all appropriate occupational health programs and services that support the K-C health and wellness strategy. This role will be conducting health surveillance programs, providing health education, ergonomic assessments, case management and facilitating return to work.In this role, you will:• Oversee the following activities: workers compensation injury and illness evaluation; treatment and case management; Leave of absence management STD & FMLA; Management Occupational Health Clinic to include staffing and supplies.• Oversee injury/illness assessment, triage treatment and continuity of care. Provide comprehensive occupational health services through regulatory compliance, proactive intervention and prevention. Support empowerment of our work force to achieve and sustain their best level of health and wellness.• Manage and deliver all medical surveillance and medical clearance programs for site• Maintain all medical information per OH, Legal, HIPAA and ethical guidelines.• Work collaboratively with Safety, and Industrial Hygiene in regard to medical recommendations in risk assessments, surveillance, medical clearance, work related injuries/prevention, accommodations/return to work.• Collaborate with HR and site management in regard to work accommodations, return to work, EAP, Fit for Duty, ADA, Drug and Alcohol, etc.• Assist Safety in regards to the medical aspect of the Emergency Response Team• Support K-C Wellness and Healthy Being initiatives.• Offer evaluation and treatment (within scope of practice) work related or non-work related injuries and illnesses and refer as appropriate.• Assist in accident investigation from medical perspective; as well as vaccinations as appropriate for site.About UsHuggies®. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science with 3+ years occupational health experience preferred• Registered Nurse with unrestricted license and CPR/AED certification• Case Management experience required• Occupational knowledge to include: epidemiology, occupational and environmental health, toxicology, safety, industrial hygiene; as well as knowledge of EAP, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA• Proficiency in computer software, such as operating systems, databases and file management.• Occupational Health Certification, NIOSH approved Spirometry course completion, CAOHC certification are all preferred.Total BenefitsHere are just a few of the benefits you’d enjoy working in this role for Kimberly-Clark.
