Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) - Austin
Kindbody is a leading fertility clinic network looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for their Austin Clinic.
Skills
- 3+ years experience in a fertility or OB/GYN practice
- Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Texas
- BLS and ACLS Certification
- Experience with EMR and G-Suite
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Passion for women’s health with fertility experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Detail-oriented with strong customer service and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Educate patients on infertility evaluations, medications, treatment protocols and procedures
- Oversee patients’ cycling process including injection training and consent reviews
- Coordinates various patient treatment plans like Egg Freezing, IUI, In Vitro Fertilization, and Frozen Embryo Transfers
- Provide counseling, procedure teaching, and effective communication of physician orders
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information in the EMR system
- Perform intrauterine inseminations and routine phlebotomy as needed
- Establish a compassionate environment and deliver emotional support to patients and families
- Support program goals and excellent customer service
- Provide feedback on process improvement and job specifications
