The Marketing Liaison interfaces with hospitals, skilled nursing homes, board and care homes and outpatient discharge planning services, and physician offices. Provides and acts as a community resource and public relations representative in facilitating safe quality healthcare in our communities.
The Marketing Liaison is expected to generate appropriate patient referrals/ admissions by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all referral sources.
1. At least three years’ experience in health care marketing preferably in hospice care operations.
2. Demonstrated ability to work independently to increase business targets, obtain contacts, and maintain relationships in the communities.
3. Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
4. Able to maintain an organized approach to territory management and work with limited supervision.
5. Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
6. Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
7. The ability to drive and/or have access to transportation for agency related travel (e.g. community partners, patients, etc.) is an essential function of the job. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile.
