About the Role

The Senior Accountant will be assisting with the day-to-day accounting operations at Kinetic Brands and working closely and collaboratively with a small team. As our Senior Accountant, you'll focus on month end close, expense allocations, intercompany transactions, and consolidations. You have strong analytical skills, are a self-starter and master of details that is energized by a fast-paced environment. 

You will

• Assist with the preparation and closing of the financial books
• Manage and record intercompany transactions
• Interface with and generate reporting for teams across the company
• Assist in corporate consolidation
• Own audit-ready recordkeeping and reporting
• Complete ownership of divisional P&L & BS, from entering AP to month end close
• Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
• Assist with the company’s Sales Tax records, reconciliations, and payments
• Assist with the company’s receivables and manage AR

You have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• 3+years in retail, CPG, or manufacturing accounting a must
• Strong knowledge around multi-entity accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Willingness and ability to get your hands dirty in an entrepreneurial environment
• Experience using Quickbooks Online accounting software
• Ability to handle sensitive information with respect, privacy, and tact
• Able to work without supervision and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to create and implement new processes in a fast-paced, start-up environment

• CPA licensure

Work environment

• This role will be remote with potential of 10% travel to our Passaic, NJ location
