Our first product is a wearable device that monitors kinematic motion of an employee, and helps provide coaching and monitoring of high-risk ergonomic motions such as bending, twisting, and jumping. 

Kinetic has deployed this wearable product to over 85,000 workers in the last 8 years, and has seen great success when the device is complemented with workforce education, coaching, and regular interaction. The role:

We are a fast-growing startup, and we’re looking for an Enterprise Sales Development Representative who can focus on top-of-the funnel sales opportunities. Due to the early stage of the business, you will have unique access to C-Level leadership and experienced sellers on a weekly basis. 

You’ll work directly with this senior leadership in operations and sales to generate sales leads and opportunities. This job requires hustle, grit, optimistic outlook, and thinking on your feet.  You will need to be relentless with follow up and do your homework before talking to prospective customers. You will be pushed to perform at the top of your game. 

You will be involved in doing rich discovery, giving demo presentations, manning our booth at trade shows, doing product presentations and presenting business cases with a clear ROI. 

In terms of professional growth, this role could potentially lead to either an enterprise account executive or post-sale account management position over a 12-18 month time frame.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify key companies and develop target accounts using Ideal Customer Profile criteria
  • Lots of calling… Make approx. 75 dials per day on some days… we are on the phone constantly making outbound calls to prospects 
  • Conduct deep discovery calls with customers in order to find out if Kinetic is the right solution for them
  • Qualify active leads via phone and email communication with key decision makers, and run high-level product presentations
  • Create new and innovative ways to drive interest in Kinetic
  • Use HubSpot to create and personalize email sequences to send to decision makers at large companies. 
  • Refine and further develop our approach for securing every single Fortune 1000 customer

What you’ve done:

  • You have 1-3 years experience involved in a sales role that requires high-touch points, ideally in the technology industry
  • Strong experience in business-based phone calls with senior stakeholders and decision makers
  • A history of successfully interacting with different stakeholders
  • Clear examples of work history that requires strong organization and time management
  • Proven track record of exceeding goals or targets, especially in an early stage environment
  • You're technically proficient, and are comfortable using basic tools like Excel and Powerpoint, but also online SAAS tools too.

Big plus if:

  • You have been formally trained in active listening and feedback skills
  • You have worked in a sales role in a B2B or enterprise technology startup
  • You have some personal connection to industrial workplaces or blue collar workers
  • You know a thing or two about wearables
