About the Senior Product Manager Role:
In the highly fragmented healthcare transportation industry, coordination is crucial for delivering care to patients. Yet, this aspect is often overlooked, leaving patients, Transportation Providers, Brokers, and Health Plans without the visibility and interoperability they need. To address this gap, we aim to create an ecosystem of indispensable products and services.
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be at the forefront of this initiative, driving the strategic direction and success of our product portfolio. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, this person will deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and propel business growth. Thriving in ambiguity is essential as we navigate complex challenges with optimism and energy, launching new products and transforming concepts into reality with unwavering ownership and proactive agency. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence product strategy, shape the roadmap, and champion a customer-centric approach to product development.
The Senior Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute the product vision and strategy, aligning with company objectives and market dynamics. Synthesize information to develop clear deliverables that precisely capture the product's value proposition. Drive necessary developments across our suite of products to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Product Roadmap: Lead the creation of comprehensive product roadmaps, by prioritizing features and initiatives, balancing short-term objectives with long-term vision, and ensuring that the roadmap remains flexible to accommodate evolving priorities and feedback.
- Product Development: Lead the entire product lifecycle, from conception to delivery. Define requirements through market research and user feedback, fostering innovation. Document processes and create well crafted user stories aligned with company goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive successful product launches.
- Data-driven Decision Making: Implement product analytics to track and measure user engagement. Utilize data and analytics to track product performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and measure the impact of product initiatives. Make informed decisions based on quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach to product management, advocating for the needs and preferences of our users. Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate on product features to enhance user satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate product updates, roadmap changes, and project status to internal teams and key stakeholders. Build consensus, manage expectations, and address concerns to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
- Product Operations: Oversee internal communications, streamlines processes, and seek efficient collaboration methods to enhance productivity. Improve access to information, facilitating knowledge sharing. Additionally, evaluate and implement new tools and integrations to optimize the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products.
- Experience with SaaS, B2B2C, or complex technical products preferred.
- Experience with agile software development processes and ability to work closely with technical teams.
- Deep understanding of design principles and experience with UI/UX and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Balsamiq.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and build consensus among diverse stakeholders. Enjoy the push-pull of passionate debate to get to decisions.
