Position Overview:
The Manager of Student Support Services at KIPP Kansas City will be responsible for coordinating and managing student support systems and programs that promote the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students. This includes overseeing special education services, English language learner (ELL) support, mental health and counseling programs, as well as interventions for students with diverse needs. The Manager will work closely with school leadership and staff to ensure that all students have access to the necessary resources to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in a student support or related role, with a strong understanding of special education laws, ELL services, and social-emotional learning frameworks.
Proven track record of working with students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in a K-12 school setting.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and services simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
Knowledge of data analysis and progress monitoring tools to assess the effectiveness of student support interventions.
