The Freight Data Analyst will play a meaningful role in optimizing our freight operations by leveraging data-driven insights.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of transportation, analytics, and technology.Responsibilities:• Analyze freight data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency and cost reduction.• Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) such as freight spend, carrier performance, transit times, and shipment accuracy.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics operations, procurement, and finance to interpret data, address challenges, and drive strategic decision-making.• Support root cause analysis on freight discrepancies, delays, and other issues to propose corrective actions and process improvements.• Use statistical methods and predictive modeling to forecast freight volumes, capacity needs, and pricing trends.• Perform ad-hoc analysis and data mining to support business initiatives and projects related to freight management, including RFQs.• Stay current with industry trends, standard processes, and technologies in freight analytics and logistics.Requirements and qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with Power BIMinimum Qualifications• Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
