KoBold Metals® is a rapidly growing Silicon Valley start-up using AI to enable the transition to electrification and help solve climate change. They are looking for an experienced Field Operations Lead to plan and execute field activities, focusing on aviation operations, to meet business objectives safely and efficiently.

Skills

5+ years of experience in field operations in related industries
Knowledge of health & safety standards and aviation safety practices
Experience with computer-controlled equipment and basic computer skills
Problem-solving skills in remote environments
Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
Familiarity with project management principles
Valid First Aid Certification
French speaking and experience with aerial survey operations are advantageous

Responsibilities

Plan and execute field activities, with a subset related to aviation operations, ensuring the safety of personnel, contractors, partners, and communities
Maintain daily contact and monitor the status of personnel and contractors in the field
Execute and maintain tracking system for health & safety incidents
Identify, evaluate, contract with, and manage field service and aviation contractors
Manage deployment of custom sensors and data egress from systems
Arrange equipment shipment, manage local management, and engage with stakeholders
