Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager

Skills

Strong knowledge of food regulations and microbiology
Experience in quality assurance/food processing
Attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficient with computers and software packages

Responsibilities

Audit and qualify potential manufacturers, suppliers, and third-party logistics facilities
Manage relationships with manufacturing facilities to ensure products meet specifications
Lead FSQA document and certification program
Manage consumer complaints through investigation and reporting
Act as a key quality and food safety partner for multiple departments
Stay informed on regulatory guidelines and industry standards
Act as a backup to the Sr. Director, FSQA as recall coordinator

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
