Junior Software Developer (Backend)
KOHO is looking for a Junior Software Developer (Backend) to join their team remotely in Canada. The company's purpose is to empower Canadians to build a strong financial foundation with transparent and easy-to-manage products.
Skills
- Experience in the Go programming language
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
- Experience with software development lifecycle and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and standards
- Participate in design discussions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
