Junior Software Developer (Backend)

KOHO is looking for a Junior Software Developer (Backend) to join their team remotely in Canada. The company's purpose is to empower Canadians to build a strong financial foundation with transparent and easy-to-manage products.

Skills

Experience in the Go programming language
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
Experience with software development lifecycle and version control systems (e.g., Git)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and standards
Participate in design discussions
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
