We’re hiring a hands-on Vendor Integrations Engineering Manager, building product features that connect third-party vendors with Kojo for the purpose of providing value to our customers.
This role will include:
Making hands-on contributions to the goals of Kojo’s vendor crew in the areas of building/testing/deploying code
Managing the vendor team of software engineers and ensuring that they are delivering on the right priorities (and neither drop the ball nor get side tracked by distractions)
Supporting product manager and vendor partner managers by answering technical questions from vendors and partnering with vendors to build integrations
Shepherding quarterly planning process for the the vendor crew, including cataloging and managing our technical debt and making continuous improvements to ongoing areas of technical challenges
Participating in engineering incident response and applying high standards of stability and maintainability to the area of ownership
Managing projects by coordinating across product, design, and engineering, scoping tickets, unblocking engineers, and considering interactions with other parts of the product
Representing the vendor team’s abilities and growth opportunities to the rest of engineering and senior leadership
This role is a great fit for an experienced player-coach who is excited to rapidly iterate and build new product, but who also takes pride in solid, maintainable, high-quality engineering output. What you’ve accomplished
Strong technical background, and proven track record of building complex customer-facing SaaS products (7+ years professional and management experience preferred)
Experience working with Github, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, node.js/TypeScript (or a similar tech stack)
Experience in collaboration across timezones and effective leadership in a remote environment
Team player who enjoys learning, teaching, and collaboration
This is an entirely remote, full-time position for candidates who currently reside in Central or South America, currently prioritizing hires in Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. Commensurate with experience and location, the salary range for this position is between $75,000-$100,000 USD.
Salary: Your salary will be dependent upon many factors, including your experience level, skillset, market dynamics and balancing internal equity relative to other Kojo employees.
