As the Senior Database Engineer on Korn Ferry’s Digital Product Development team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our diverse database environments. With your strong background in database management and DevOps, you will oversee database and application installations, updates, and deployments. Your proficiency in CI/CD systems will be key in evolving our platform deployment processes, while your hands-on experience will ensure the seamless operation of our database systems. For more information on KF Digital solutions, please visit: https://www.kornferry.com/capabilities/intelligence-cloud-hr-platform KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Support a mix of SQL Server database environments including AWS and Azure, PAAS and IAAS environments. • Create and maintain deployment procedures with GitLab, Team City, Octopus, and Jenkins. • Responsible for database and application installations, cumulative updates and deployments. • Create and update database and server maintenance scripts provide validation of maintenance completion. • Query tunning and database optimizations. • Maintain and monitor High Availability and Disaster Recovery systems using Failover Cluster Manager, Availability Groups and Replication. • Deploy, and evolve CICD systems for our platforms. • Support PAAS PostgreSQL database environments. • Provide systems support including responding to monitoring alerts. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS • 5+ years’ experience with Relational Database Management Systems. • 5+ years’ hand-on experience with DevOps tools. • SQL Server DBA experience required. • PostgreSQL DBA experience required. • MySQL Server experience a plus. • NoSQL database experience a plus. • Previous experience with BI tools, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. • Hands-on experience in continuous delivery and continuous integration of CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with GitHub Repos, branching, code review and code analysis tools. • Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Team City, Octopus, and Azure DevOps. • Ability to assess the requirement, environment and suggest right tools / technologies. • Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting. • Expertise in Debugging and providing solutions and workarounds. • Knowledge of different monitoring and logging solutions for database systems. • Experience working on diverse, global teams is ideal. EDUCATION • Related degrees in computer science, information technology, software engineering, etc. and / or certifications are ideal. Salary Range $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 Salary range represents the compensation Korn Ferry expects to pay to a candidate with the requirements for the job posted.
