Job Description
Korsail Energy is seeking an Interconnection Engineer to oversee the technical aspects of our solar and storage projects. This position is ideal for candidates with a utility or consulting background who have considerable experience managing the design and construction of energy projects.
The Distribution Interconnection Engineer will support the development of greenfield solar and storage projects from initial feasibility studies, through preliminary design and interconnection, and on to commercial operation. You will have a significant amount of responsibility in this role and will also have significant room for growth in the company.
We are seeking an individual with 0-2 years of utility scale solar project development experience. Candidates should also be detail-oriented, proactive, supportive, and team-oriented.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $80,000 and $100,000/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Korsail Energy reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Korsail Energy or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
