Job Details Job Location Remote UT - Taylorsville, UT Remote Type Hybrid Position Type Regular Salary Range $60,791.00 - $78,200.00 Salary Travel Percentage Road Warrior Job Shift Day Job Category Business Development Description The Senior Manager of Community Engagement plays a key role in advancing Waterford’s mission by facilitating the implementation of action plans for participant recruitment and fostering collaborative relationships with organizations dedicated to early childhood education. Serving as a vital link between diverse communities and Waterford, the Senior Manager drives the success of our national scaling plan, a cornerstone of Waterford’s long-term sustainability and universal literacy goals. This role is critical to developing and managing cohorts, which form the foundation of Waterford’s universal literacy campaign. Through effective recruitment and retention efforts, more children will enter kindergarten prepared to succeed. Additionally, this role ensures the team builds strong family and community partnerships, promoting access, excellence, and equity in early education for all children.Responsibilities• Must live in Utah, willing and able to travel up to 70%• As a key voice in the development and implementation of cohorts, ensure that the team onboarding of the cohort is timely and seamless• Lead the required processes to open, close, and monitor Waterford Upstart implementations nationwide in partnership with internal teams• Consistently update and monitor Salesforce and supervise staff entries.• Monitor cohorts’ usage minutes in conjunction with the Program Success team and prepare data visualization reports for benchmarks and results from PowerBI and Salesforce• Serves as a mentor to Community Engagement Managers• In partnership with internal teams, assist with crafting cohort reports to increase funder investment for mid-term and final impact reports• Facilitate and participate in formal speaking engagements to represent Waterford in an inclusive way in public and private settings, including securing expert panelists, engaging in small group meetings, and developing written thought leadership activities at local and state levels• Continuously champion, promote, and advance diversity, equity, and inclusive excellence at Waterford.org• Collaborate on and contribute to organizational DEI efforts and goalsQualifications• Four-year college degree from an accredited institution is preferred but not required• Five plus years experience in community organizing, outreach, or sales• Experience engaging with diverse populations and underserved communities• Experience in the K-12 or early childhood education field• Strong ability to manage teams and projects independently• Supervise and train a team on Salesforce• Ability to set goals and meet deadlines• Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate complex ideas and projects• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills• Proven Experience in utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to advise decision-making and resource allocation.• Multilingual ability is a plusAbout Waterford.org Our Commitment to Equity & InclusionWaterford.org's commitment to inclusive excellence is foundational to achieving our mission of universal literacy.
