Our Employment Tax team has a clear focus on providing a high-touch, value-add advisory and compliance service to a diverse client portfolio. We deliver on a range of projects, from complex tax advice, payroll and superannuation reviews and tax managed services for some of Australia’s largest employers. Our national Employment Tax team within the KPMG Workforce Advisory business has experienced significant growth and is recruiting senior talent (manager through to director) to join our high performing team in either Sydney or Brisbane.
Your Opportunity
We are looking to appoint this role at the Senior Manager level and open to individuals coming from different walks of life; Consulting professionals, Industry Specialists and those looking to step up into Senior Management from a similar profession. What this role will invovle:
Leading a team of Employment Tax Consultants
Consulting to Australia’s largest employers, both corporate and government, on their Fringe Benefit Tax, payroll tax, PAYG withholding and Superannuation Guarantee obligations.
Helping to develop our employment tax compliance solutions including the use of data analytics and robotic process automation.
Resolving disputes and investigations with tax authorities.
Helping to grow our national network and shaping our future employment tax offerings.
Working within our wider Workforce Advisory business, alongside a young and vibrant national team with a collaborative culture and strong growth mindset.
Developing and growing external client and internal KPMG relationships.

Experience in executing tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
Experience working on employment tax matters highly desirable.
Strong experience with excel and data manipulation
Experience with FBT, Alteryx or other automation technology tools.
Ability to undertake legal research and problem solve.
A commitment to client service with a proven track record of developing strong relationships with clients.
