The Team

We’re looking for a skilled Creative  Strategy Manager to join our Brand Creative Team at Kraken. You'll be responsible for setting the overall strategic direction for the Kraken brand. You'll work collaboratively with our Creative, Marketing, Social and Design teams to identify trends, develop creative briefs, create top-performing ads, drive creative decision-making, and grow our brand impact, ultimately making Kraken matter in culture. This role is perfect for someone who is highly strategic, consumer and culture-obsessed, and passionate about building exciting brands. 

The opportunity

  • Work closely with our Creative Director to ideate and develop creative briefs.

  • Drive marketing campaigns forward for the brand by leveraging new creative ideas, content sources and media production strategies.

  • Analyze data sets, review consumer research, analyze ad performance and provide direction and guidance across team functions.

  • Identify opportunities for impactful, unexpected creative, partnerships, events, etc.

  • Keep up with the latest crypto trends to inform projects and deliver work that’s globally and culturally relevant.

  • Support internal and external teams on reactive projects with often tight deadlines.

  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned 


Skills You Should HODL

  • 7+ years of experience working at a creative agency, a Marketing department or an in-house creative team.

  • A strong understanding of digital marketing, critical thinking skills, knowledge of media types.

  • Knows crypto: You’re familiar with blockchain technology, crypto, DeFi and the culture around it. 

  • Truly curious. Your two favorite words are “how” and “why”.  

  • A burning passion for culture, and what makes brands exciting and relevant. We want to be the brand that leads the global adoption of crypto. 

  • Naturally creative: You’re able to think creatively, spot opportunities and come up with exciting new ideas for marketing campaigns and more.

  • Optimistic. We’re trying to change the narrative around crypto and get people excited.

  • Flexible: You’re open-minded and happy to adapt when things change.
