At Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, the Staked team, now part of Kraken Institutional since Kraken's acquisition in December 2021, specializes in enabling non-custodial staking solutions tailored for institutional clients. Staked offers staking services across 40+ proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchains, managing billions in delegated assets. Trusted by top investors and cryptocurrency exchanges, Staked ensures optimal staking rewards.
As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating secure and efficient participation by institutions in staking activities on newly launched blockchains, promoting decentralization and delivering economic benefits to institutional investors in the digital asset space.
This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates based in the United States.
Manage entire new blockchain lifecycle and maintain multi-workstream product roadmap
Schedule and conduct discovery calls with protocol teams
Track timelines and ensure we meet all deadlines for testnets and mainnet launches
Research protocols to understand their purpose, how they work, etc.
Gather technical requirements and create comprehensive tickets in JIRA for Blockops, Observability, Infra and AppDev teams
Prepare Executive Level Summary as part of the annual and quarterly planning processes based on planning in JIRA / AirTable
Document staking mechanics and protocol economics in Confluence
Monitor announcement channels in Discord, Slack, etc. and interface with protocol teams for new developments, status updates and deadlines
Set up cryptocurrency wallets on different blockchains to perform test transactions
Educate internal team and work with marketing to create content about new chains for the current and potential customers
Bachelor's Degree or higher from a 4 year institution
3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Product Manager or Engineer, ideally at a technology company or start-up
2+ years of JIRA experience
Understanding of how blockchains work, particularly proof-of-stake (PoS) protocols
Genuine passion for cryptocurrency and interest in learning about new blockchains
Ability to manage product roadmap with 15+ concurrent work streams
Extreme attention to detail and focus on timelines, milestones and deadlines
Strong writing skills, ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts
Proactive self-starter who gets things done with little oversight
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, team player and overall good vibes
