Position Summary: 
 
The HRIS Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing Workday, our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), with a focus on business processes, security, and data integrity. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, analytical skills, and human resources knowledge to ensure efficient operation, reporting, and continuous improvement of HR systems. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Administer, configure, and maintain the Workday HRIS platform, ensuring data accuracy and system efficiency. 
  • Develop, generate, and analyze HR reports and dashboards using Workday's reporting tools to support decision-making.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the HRIS, leveraging system capabilities to automate processes and improve overall HR operations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data across the system, conducting regular audits and data validation checks.
  • Provide technical support and training to HR team members and end users on Workday functionalities and best practices.
  • Ensure the HRIS complies with relevant data protection regulations and organizational policies, maintaining the confidentiality and security of employee data.
  • Participate in or lead HRIS-related projects, including semi-annual system updates, new module implementation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for Workday questions and issues.
  • Prioritize and elevate issues to external Workday support providers and internal IT technical support.
  • Work closely with HR, IT, Payroll, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of Workday with other business systems and processes.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst or in a similar role, with previous implementation involvement and administrative experience in Workday.
  •  Experience with system integrations, particularly with Workday and other HR/Payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and how they impact HR systems.
  • Strong Understanding of HR processes, workflows, and data management
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders and translate technical information into user-friendly language
