Lab Technician

General Responsibilities

· Ability to use servo-hydraulic equipment safely.

· Assemble fixtures, install components, and write tests according to customer specifications.

· Keep accurate logs of parts as they progress through their test.

· Generate accurate test reports based on raw data acquired from testing.

· Performing some maintenance on equipment may be required.

· Maintain knowledge of and execute job safety policies, procedures, and practices.

Fatigue Lab

· Test and prove out components using 1 to 3 axis bedplates or equivalent.

· Test and prove out components using single axis load frames.

· Make minor fixture modifications to allow parts to fit correctly.

· Write fatigue tests that are accurate and efficient.

Characterization Lab

· Test and prove out components using single and multi-axis systems.

· Test and prove out components using the alliance, sag, or corrosion equipment.

· Make minor fixture modifications to allow parts to fit correctly.

· Write characterization tests that are accurate and efficient.

** NVH Lab Senior Technicians must handle and accommodate multiple roles from the above list with accuracy and efficiency and must be confirmed by the NVH Lab Manager to be the case.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
