Labelling Technologist

The role

As part of our Technical team expansion, we are looking for a new Labelling Technologist to join us. Your role will be focussing on providing the labelling information that goes on to our products before it reaches our customers, managing the process and timings for artwork and marketing collateral approvals in collaboration with NPD, Nutrition and Marketing. You'll also be auditing and preparing website & support content in readiness for launches .

Whilst labelling content will be a huge part of your role, you will also support collating all of our Customer Feedback to help track trends. Our Technical team use objective markers in the form of customer feedback to track changes over time. It shows us if the changes we've made have made our customers happy. Your role will also include helping pulling this data together, looking at trends in the data, and presenting this information back to the team .

What we're looking for in you

You might have recently graduated from Uni and completed a placement year, or maybe you have already had a few years of experience in industry, but either way what is important is that you'll need to have a good understanding of food and drink labelling in the UK.

Ideally you'll have knowledge of other countries' legislation too (US and EU) as we produce products worldwide. You'll be personable and able to build and maintain strong working relationships which is a huge part of this role. You’ll be someone who has great attention to detail and good organisation skills which will help you to be process driven .

2021 was one of our most successful years so far. We almost doubled our headcount from 110 to over 200 employees, launched a number of innovative products (including our delicious plant-based Mac & Cheeze) and our revenue figures jumped a pretty impressive amount too.
