Job Location: One Henkel Way, Rocky Hill, CT 06067
Position Type: contract( 12 months) with possible extension
Pay rate $25/hr on w2 with benefits.
Education:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Requirements:
1-3 year of demonstrated laboratory experience
Computer literate in Microsoft Office products - word, excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data.
Capable of using common tools (ie torque wrenches).
Attention to detail and taking pride in their work.
Comfortable and able to work with chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols.
The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
Responsibilities:
This role is on a high impact team that is leading advance water filtration innovations, very rewarding experience knowing the potential impact to alleviate the water shortage issues being experience globally.
Under the supervision of a Senior Engineering Manager, the Technician will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:
Handling the printed membrane and testing/monitoring print quality.
Tests performance characteristics of printed membrane samples.
Evaluate, collect and record data.
Participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook.
Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.
