Overview:

Holcim US (formerly Lattimore Materials Corp) is hiring a full time Laborer for it's Port Arthur, Texas LNG project.

Responsibilities:

What you'll be doing:

Perform maintenance, operate plant equipment and housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain plant sites, buildings, grounds and equipment at the plant or job site
Assist Batch Plant operator at the RMX Plant
Operates plant processing equipment, maintains product quality and production output; report any deficiency to supervisor for corrective measures
Provides preventative maintenance service for plant equipment; conduct plant equipment repairs as direct by supervision
Performs daily inspections of plant equipment and grounds to ensure a safe work environment; report any deficiency to supervisor for corrective measures
Follows all safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards
Operates plant processing equipment in accordance with company guidelines for product quality and production output; monitors plant for material spills and mechanical failure and report to site management when identified
Cleans under and around operating plant using hand tools and small mobile equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance activities in a timely manner; assist with major plant repairs and breakdowns as required; coordinates work to ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner and according in order of priority
Provides leadership and/or guidance to less experienced laborers on more complex assignments; may train new employees

Qualifications:

We're looking for:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand and power tools
Knowledge of company processes and procedures
Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
Able to prioritize work
Valid driver’s license
