Our job is to do more than help with finances, we create connections that last a lifetime.If you truly have a passion for helping others, you'll fall in love with us.Aggieland CUJob DescriptionWhat's in it for you as a Strategic Partnerships & University Relations Manager :• Engage directly with Texas A&M and Texas State universities and their communities, creating meaningful relationships.• Be part of a dynamic and collaborative team environment.• Opportunity for professional growth and leadership development.• Full Benefits Package : 401k, Medical, Dental, Life, Paid Time Off.Basics of a Strategic Partnerships & University Relations Manager :• Exempt / Hybrid role based in College Station.• Expected travel to Texas A&M and Texas State campuses as well as HQ in Austin.• After-hours and weekend community-related activities as needed for business purposes.What you'll do as a Strategic Partnerships & University Relations Manager :In this role, you and your team will activate and deepen relationships between the credit union and its strategic partners.You will work in collaboration with the marketing team, lines of business, external agencies, and key stakeholders to deploy strategic initiatives, engage our prospective audience, grow memberships, and promote the credit union.Management : Attract, coach, and engage assigned staff through servant leadership and continuous coaching. Develop and direct the 'brand ambassador' student-driven street team.Direct third-party resources such as freelancers, photographers, media companies, and agencies. Oversee and maximize the fulfillment of the credit union's partner agreements including Texas A&M University Texas State University, and any future partnerships.Identify and evaluate future partnership opportunities.Activation & Promotion : Deploy engaging and memorable activation tactics to fulfill and maximize the credit union's sponsored activities in alignment with the credit union's strategic objectives.Optimize and prioritize partner opportunities in alignment with the credit union's overall strategic plan. Ensure the credit union is presented in a top-tier fashion.Relationship Administration : Build and maintain relationships with key influencers within our communities to strengthen the position of our brands.Articulate the value of Greater Texas / Aggieland Credit Union's brand. Connect with prospective members and groups, maintaining and leveraging our network.Marketing : Develop content and experiences that consistently and powerfully communicate the desired marketing message and positioning to the appropriate audiences within brand standards.Advocate to leverage the credit union's brand authority in alignment with any partner brand, especially the Texas A&M and Texas State University brands.Tracking and Reporting : Track and report the effectiveness of partner investments including marketing channels, activation opportunities, corporate giving, scholarships, and more.Partner with marketing team members to identify internal reporting metrics. Frequently monitor data analytics to identify trends in member and prospect behavior, profitability, tenure, churn, product cycles, and more in relation to partnerships to identify opportunities to increase memberships, product penetration, and engagement.Collaboration and Planning : Develop top-tier strategies by writing thorough marketing briefs and leading group discussions about our strategic partnerships.Ensure marketing assets are developed in accordance with media deadlines, project timelines, and other due dates.Credit Union Compliance : Comply with the credit union's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Policy and Anti Money Laundering and Member Due Diligence Procedures.The BSA training is to be completed within 90 days of employment and annually thereafter. Complete compliance and career development training as assigned.Travel : Operate a motor vehicle and / or corporate van to drive to San Marcos, College Station, and Greater Texas Credit Union Headquarters in Austin to attend regularly scheduled monthly meetings and key events throughout the year.Travel to branches, other university campus locations, and marketing / community events and meetings, as needed.QualificationsMust have for a Strategic Partnerships & University Relations Manager :• Experience : 6+ years of broad marketing or related experience.• Education : Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.• Skills : Sales, Relationship Building, Promotional Strategy, Partnership Activation, Marketing, Leadership.• Physical Demands : Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderately heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds).• Environmental Conditions : Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures during outdoor events.• License : Valid Driver's License; must be insurable with clean driving record.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Last updated : 2024-08-20
