Landscape gardener

Job title: Landscape Gardener/crew leader Job location: Cambridge, MA (and surrounding areas)

Full-time: 30-40 hours per week

Position: Established, family-owned, professional gardening/landscaping company that is committed to using organic practices.

We are based in Cambridge and are seeking a gardener to start immediately.

We would love to find someone who is loyal and interested in continuing year to year. There is the potential for growth within our company!

Responsibilities:

• Weed, prune, mulch, amend soil, plant, mow lawns, light stone work. Must interact positively with clients and crew
• Help keep trucks organized and clean

Requirements:

• A clean, current driver's license and willingness to drive is essential.
• Ability to work independently and with a group
• Experience with pruning, cleaning, mulching, amending soil, planting, deadheading, raking leaves
• Must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work
• Capable of lifting/carrying 40+ pounds
• Enthusiastic, dependable, and a positive attitude
• Takes direction well

Compensation and Benefits:

• $20-plus per hour, depending on experience
• Potential for bonuses
