Accountant - job 1 of 3

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team. In this role, you will leverage your accounting expertise to support various financial operations, including accounts receivable, cash forecasting, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Familiarity with incurred cost proposals, government cost-type billings, disclosure statements, and DCAA audits
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and TM1 is a plus
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

• Manage accounts receivable duties, including collections
• Perform cash forecasting and bank/order reconciliations
• Handle inter-company invoicing and maintain commission records
• Maintain sales orders, including entries and billings
• Prepare journal entries and analyze financial data for general ledger accounts
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal procedures
• Serve as back-up for other accounting duties as assigned
