Instructional Designer Specialist

The Instructional Designer Specialist will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing instructional content and training programs. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and educational theory to produce effective and engaging learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, a passion for education, and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning objectives to create effective instructional strategies and content.
  • Utilize instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other team members to gather content requirements and ensure alignment with learning goals.
  • Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes to visualize and test instructional content.
  • Implement and utilize various multimedia tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience (e.g., video, audio, interactive elements).
  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of instructional materials through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making revisions as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in instructional design and e-learning.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in instructional design, including developing e-learning content and training programs.
  • Proficiency in instructional design software and tools specifically Articulate Storyline.
  • Strong understanding of learning theories, instructional design models, and educational technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging instructional materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and improve instructional content.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is required.
