ISSM (TS/SCI Required)

Due to US Government regulations to acquire a security clearance US citizenship is required


TS/SCI REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION


Key Responsibilities:

Security Policy and Compliance:

Develop, implement, and enforce information security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, and CMMC.

Risk Management and Assessment:

Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and prioritize security risks and threats.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to address identified vulnerabilities.

Security Operations:

Oversee security operations, including incident response, security monitoring, and threat detection and prevention.

Coordinate with IT and cybersecurity teams to implement security controls, patches, and updates in a timely manner.

Security Training and Awareness:

Develop and deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.

Provide guidance and support to staff on security best practices and procedures.

Security Governance and Reporting:

Establish and maintain security governance processes, including security committees and risk management forums.

Prepare and present regular reports on security metrics, incidents, and compliance status to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification required.

IAT Level 3 certification (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP) required.

6+ years of experience in information security management, with a focus on risk management, compliance, and incident response.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, CMMC).

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.


$130,000 - $145,000 a year
