Paralegal (Employment Law Experience Preferred)-Hybrid

Position Summary:

The Paralegal will support attorneys by performing a variety of legal tasks, including legal research, document preparation, and case management. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of legal procedures and, preferably, experience in employment law. This role demands excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This position offers remote work 2-3 days per week, Paralegal certificate required.

• Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research on employment law and other relevant legal topics, including case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Document Preparation: Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials related to employment law cases.
• Case Management: Assist in managing case files, ensuring all documents are organized and deadlines are adhered to.
• Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
• Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions, including organizing exhibits and other materials.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence.
• Employment Law Cases: Support attorneys in handling employment law cases, including claim investigations, policy analysis, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in the preparation and handling of legal documents and cases.
