Senior Accountant - job 2 of 2

Looking for an experience Senior Accounting that has prior experience working with Non-profit organizations.

• Perform month end closing processes within tight deadlines and ensure completion of financial statements.
• Reconcile A/R activity to the general ledger; prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Reconcile and post cash receipts, credit cards, and disbursements.
• Prepare clear, organized account analysis of all balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain account reconciliation of various clearing accounts.
• Assist in the audit of subsystem interfaces to the general ledger.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end audit.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting and various financial analysis functions, including operational analyses and KPIs.
• Perform other duties and functions as directed and/or requested.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting.

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Non-Profit accounting experience is required.
• Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, auditing & cost control principles, theory & regulation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information and interact effectively with Executive Management Team and department heads.
• Non-profit and/or grant accounting experience a plus.

• CPA is a plus.
