Job Title: Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Oracle applications, including but not limited to Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Cloud Applications, and related modules. The Oracle Functional SME will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and support of Oracle solutions to meet business needs. Experience with Oracle Financials is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Implementation:
Lead the design and implementation of Oracle ERP solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
Configure Oracle applications to meet business needs and support system enhancements.
Functional Expertise:
Serve as the go-to expert for Oracle modules such as Financials, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, and others.
Provide functional expertise and guidance in the use of Oracle applications, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and other stakeholders.
Project Management:
Lead and manage Oracle-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope.
Coordinate with technical teams, including developers and system administrators, to implement and support Oracle solutions.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Support and Maintenance:
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle applications, addressing user issues and system enhancements.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to plan and execute system upgrades and patches.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on the latest Oracle features and industry trends, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes.
Participate in user groups, forums, and professional networks to share knowledge and learn from peers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of [10] years of experience working with Oracle applications, including EBS and/or Oracle Cloud.
Strong functional knowledge of Oracle modules such as Financials, SCM, HCM, Procurement, etc.
Proven experience in Oracle ERP implementation and upgrade projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Project management experience, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Oracle certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications.
Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
Experience in a consulting environment.
