Salary: up to £25,000

We are a Fintech company focused on digital lending software, a market growing around 18% per year and set to be worth $27 billion by 2028. Given our expertise within the company and across the group we aim to be the leader in the space, and in order to do that we need a team of people who can not just write quality code but can think, create and challenge others to come up with the best solutions for our customers. We are an ambitious team with a pretty big ‘to-do list’ including improving existing products, building new ones and delivering to new markets.

The Role

As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled and supportive team, working on real-world projects from day one. We believe in nurturing talent and encouraging exploration. This is a unique opportunity to hone your coding skills, develop your problem-solving abilities, and grow into a well-rounded software engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain software.
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code in a variety of languages and frameworks.
  • Participate in code reviews, pairing sessions, and sprint planning.
  • Take on challenges with a problem-solving mindset, focusing on finding creative, efficient solutions.

What You’ll Learn

  • Exposure to a wide range of programming languages and frameworks.
  • Best practices in software development, including Agile methodologies.
  • How to write maintainable, scalable, and high-performance code.
  • Tools for continuous integration, automated testing, and code deployment.
  • Collaborative problem-solving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • The full software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and maintenance.

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Must be Java based).
  • Passionate about coding, technology, and learning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eager to learn new programming languages, tools, and frameworks.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C#) is a plus.
  • Motivated by solving real-world problems and building meaningful software.
