Lead Fabricator

Our passion is to innovate and bring to the market equipment and solutions that lead to new efficiencies and further enable our clients to conserve water supplies.As a Lead Fabricator you will be responsible for the cutting, welding, bending and assembling of metal parts.

You will complete assigned activities under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager, or designated substitute.Minimum Qualification Requirements: High School diploma or GED, with 10+ years of hands on fabrication experience. Crew lead experience a must.Proficient in all types of welding specifically in FCAW and GTAW on carbon and stainless steel. Must be more than just a welder.Experience in cutting, fitting, machining, rolling, forming, rigging, erecting, and welding. Working references and portfolio of work is desired.

Certified in operating a forklift and able to operate overhead cranes. Skilled in the use of hand tools and must be able to supply own set of mechanics tools. Ability to read and interpret parts lists and blueprints.Responsibilities: Manually and automatic arc welding of sheet metal, steel plate, structural steel, pipe and forged or casts parts to form a variety of production fabrications. Typical jobs include welding of tanks, frames, large cases, filter tanks, etc.

Assemble component parts as per blueprint. Select correct welding procedure and the ability to set welding machine in accordance to welding specifications.May be required to repair production fabrications or castings by cutting and / or welding using either gas or arc welding equipmentPerforms all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Other duties may be assigned.Ovivo Inc. is a global company dedicated to water and wastewater treatment.
