Would you like to join a fast paced, fun-loving and diverse team? WP Engine's website acquisition team is looking for a dynamic marketer who has experience with driving B2B lead generation strategies to achieve new revenue and customer growth targets. We need that rare talent who can work across many functions who can help create a robust pipeline of qualified leads by optimizing the user journey. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategic lead generation programs that drive inbound leads while working in a highly visible and cross-functional role.
The day to day
The ideal person will lead digital marketing initiatives that are focused on creating an effortless experience for the user to “get in touch” with us whether that’s via chat, phone or form submissions. You are someone who gets excited about diving into the data, curious about user behavior or trends, and can identify areas of opportunities to drive growth.
You will work cross-functionally to manage large, strategic, marketing projects that require integration with multiple teams (Sales, Channel Managers, Designers, Web Development, Marketing & Sales Operations, Product Marketing, etc.) and have the potential to deliver major improvements to overall demand generation efforts.
Overall success will require a strong understanding of the user journey on our website and identifying growth opportunities to improve engagement, conversion and nurture. You will have the chance to craft a highly visible area of WP Engine that directly impacts the growth of the business.
  • Influence the overall success of our global inbound lead generation programs which fuels our revenue growth.
  • Work directly with our sales, channel acquisition managers and web design/development teams on how to target our persona and build website experiences that generate quality leads.
  • Gather, analyze, and apply relevant user data/insights to evolve our strategy and approach.
  • Build and manage productive partnerships with a wide range of business unit leaders.
  • Collaborate and strategize with our email team to optimize CRM marketing opportunities to support lead generation, nurture, and conversion.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of our technology stack and potential integrations to create a frictionless user experience.
  • Exhibit creative skills for building demand generation programs across the buyer journey.
  • Clearly understand the marketing and sales funnel to identify opportunities for improvement.
Your skills and expertise
  • 7-10 years of experience in a B2B lead generation role, preferably in the technology sector
  • Proven success of building lead generation programs at scale that drive revenue growth, require internal buy-in, and cross-functional collaboration/execution.
  • Deep understanding of integrated technologies such as GA, Salesforce, HubSpot and others.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) practices by being able to identify user behavior trends and implementing programs to enhance conversion rates.
  • Strong project management, organizational and communication skills with the ability to take ownership of initiatives.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders, confidently providing insights and recommendations based on strong research and analysis.
  • Ability to work autonomously to accomplish objectives and evaluate results.

Base Salary Range
$104,000.00 - $156,000.00
We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position nationwide. The actual base pay will vary based on various factors including job-related skills and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
