Regardless of segment or geography, accessing usable data quickly is a baseline requirement for operating a business today. Flatfile serves as a crucial bridge between messy, 3rd party data and our customers' systems. We call this data onboarding, and we view it as both a challenge and an opportunity to serve every company in the world.
As a Lead Product Manager, you'll report directly to our Chief Product Officer and work with partners across the organization and with other members of the product team to build a durable Roadmap for solving the most valuable data onboarding problems. PMs at Flatfile create a path towards success in realizing our larger goals, and are accepting of failure along the journey coupled with rapid course correction. Your orientation will be towards our existing and future market, explaining the most important problems for our products to solve, and providing guidance to our engineering and design teams to pursue those solutions.

Research customer problems

Prioritize those problems to build a roadmap

Establish clear acceptance criteria for solutions in specs and stories

Organize stories into a clear backlog

Provide guidance and connect partners at each phase of product development

Lead the charge on quality assurance and product delivery

Set product goals and strategy

Refine internal product development processes

Collaborate with the data team to measure product performance

Mentor other product teammates

Engage with team members for feedback on priorities

You have 5+ years of previous experience in SaaS Product Management

You've built roadmaps for multiple B2B products or features at early or growth stage startups

You know how to achieve positive results despite a changing market

You can establish business problems using both qualitative and quantitative research

You can build scalable frameworks to inform the broader team about the problems we solve and why we solve them

You can translate your vision into internal- and external-facing stories that relay the value of Flatfile's solutions

You prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity and have worked across departments to bring products to life.

Technical product manager, software engineering, previous founder, or early stage employee a plus

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Flatfile's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado.
Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 annually
