Lead Systems Analyst

Ready to help us transform healthcare? Bring your true colors to blue. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is looking for a Lead Systems Analyst to join our Clinical Solutions Delivery Team. This is a terrific opportunity for an IT professional to work with a variety of business areas, be exposed to a large variety of business processes, and grow with the organization. As a Lead Systems Analyst working on the Clinical Solutions Delivery Team team, you will be providing analysis and project support for Clinical Solutions projects and operations. You will work with stakeholders and vendors to ensure all are aligned in developing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions that meet Clinical Solutions needs with a primary focus on Utilization Management & Care Management..

Key Responsibilities
Has deep understanding and expertise in a business domain or value stream, including operational configuration, business processes, business systems, foundational systems, data flows and integrations
Creates and socializes appropriate artifacts in user story and requirement elaboration, including business process diagrams, customer journey maps, impact analysis, systems diagrams, data flow diagrams and any other appropriate artifact to ensure story completeness and clarity
Assists product ownership and product management in understanding feature & epic impacts to business processes and makes recommendations on how to break down features for team to consume and develop
Makes recommendations on new systems or changes to existing systems or processes to support new features and epics
Mentors Sr. BSAs and below on effective user story writing, artifact creation & management supporting user stories, systems design patterns, and feasibility
Leads and manages appropriate ceremonies with software teams, ensuring understanding of requirements and making changes as needed to support systems requirements or other impediments
Has high degree of systems analysis knowledge, including feasibility, sizing & financial impacts, user experience impacts, stakeholder needs

Experience/Education
Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience
8-10 years systems OR business analyst experience
Experience with healthcare industry, software development, data, and systems
Experience with agile, SAfe, and/or waterfall methodologies
Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must

Salary Range: $117,720.00 - $143,880.00

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
