Position Summary
TRANSFR, a leader in the virtual reality educational and training software industry, is currently seeking a full-time TRANSFR, a leader in the virtual reality educational and training software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Lead Unity Engineer to help build and expand our architecture for innovative products, collaborate on cross-functional projects, and identify and solve complex problems.
The ideal candidate will have a true love for learning and a burning desire to contribute to outcomes that change the world.
The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $160K and $180K, with the actual base salary amount dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s credentials, relevant experience, and primary job location. In addition to salary this role will be eligible for additional company benefits such as stock options, 401(k), paid vacation and sick time, and medical/dental/vision insurance.

TRANSFR, a leader in the virtual reality educational and training software industry, is currently seeking a full-time TRANSFR, a leader in the virtual reality educational and training software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Lead Unity Engineer to help build and expand our architecture for innovative products, collaborate on cross-functional projects, and identify and solve complex problems.

This role can operate 100% remote, but our preference is to hire someone based in the NY area who is interested in working with the team on a flexible hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Refactoring existing code base into solid architecture
- Create automation test whenever possible
- Help to ensure code architecture and structure is up to standards and cleaned
- Coordinate multiple build targets and merge into a clean repo for master build
- Work with tools to assist in automation of building and maintaining automation of building Azure and AWS
- Assist in any mentorship and Unity best practices for developers
- Communicate solutions to architect and executive team
- Documentation of solutions that will be consumed by other team members
- Identify and encourage areas of growth and improvement in the architecture and the team
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in CS (or related)
- Senior level a must
- Unity expertise a must
- Prior gameplay engineering a must
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Unity Expert with 6+ years’ of Android development, VR preferred - Oculus SDK
- Good understanding of SOLID principles
- Ability to develop, coordinate and monitor schedules
- Coding skills in Unity / C#
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to work well in teams
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Tools creation is nice to have
What We Offer:
