Senior Product Manager, Reporting and Analytics
As the Senior Product Manager, Reporting and Analytics, you will own the customer-facing website and digital marketing reporting product and will be responsible for best-in-class reporting that provides insights that drive action. You will drive the research, design, and build of dashboards and drill-down reporting of metrics, KPIs and results for our dealers. Critical to success is the ability to transform raw data into visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards including the ability to organize a variety of reports into workspaces that allow users to quickly access reporting to address their most pressing questions. Dashboard and reporting usability is a top priority (maintaining version control, standardized templates, style guides and consistency).

- Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap.
- Through customer and stakeholder interviews, deeply understand their problems and create prioritized product requirements that address them.
- Transform data into useful information and insights tailored to customer needs through storyboarding and data visualization.
- Develop and test product concepts and ideas across customer segments.
- Oversee the work of cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and technical groups to drive product vision, define product requirements, and manage products.
- Ensure dependencies are accounted for during the planning process.
- Build, prioritize, and maintain the team backlog for sprint planning.
- Actively participate in the development process and bring clarity to the team’s work.
- Implement best practices in application architecture, security, and performance to ensure reliable and scalable solutions.
- Develop documentation, user guides, and training materials to support end-users and ensure smooth adoption.
- Plan and lead successful product launches.
- Develop tactical plans to support successful adoption.
- Measure effectiveness through clearly defined results, not quantity of stories delivered.
- Monitor product usage and user feedback to inform future development.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, including debugging, troubleshooting, and deployment assistance.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in data reporting and analytics.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in product management.
- 2+ years of professional data visualization, reporting automation, and analysis experience.
- Experience creating interactive reports and dashboards with different visual elements.
- Familiarity working with raw data, improving its quality, understanding its meaning, and using it to create reports and dashboards that tell a story.
- Strong data background related to digital marketing ROI.
- Familiarity with querying data, data modeling, and data visualization best practices.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including how to turn raw data into meaningful information.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, and to work effectively with customers, development, operations, and sales.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively and concisely to audiences with varying levels of domain knowledge.
- Solid internal and customer engagement skills.
- Attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity. and ability to adapt to ongoing change.
- Rapid and data-driven decision-maker.
- Strong internal motivation with a great work ethic.
- Experience developing software using SCRUM or other Agile methodologies.
- Success in executing product strategy in a SaaS business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel 15%.
