Lean Industrial Engineer

This role will require the person to be onsite and the hours are 7:00AM to 5:00Pm Monday through Friday with the possibility to work off hours as needed. You will be working on Head-Up Display systems and Instrument Clusters. The plant is located in Sabina, OH and has recently acquired new customers. This has expanded the Client in the maintenance department workforce. The plant is climate controlled and has a clean environment.

What you will be doing:

• Coordinate activities associated with Continuous Improvement Activity. These activities require close cooperation and planning with the various manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Manage Lean Program. Create midterm plan, annual plan, monthly plans, progress reporting and procedural documents needed to grow and maintain the Lean Program.
• Assist other IE team members with process constraint management and reduction to meet Customer program requirements.
• Work with Management Team to develop Key Performance Indicators to promote effective management of production processes.
• Execute special projects, as required.

What you will need to be successful

• Bachelors in Industrial Engineering
• 3 years of progressive Manufacturing Lean-related experience in automotive or similar manufacturing industry
• Computer literate – Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Project Management.
• Ability to create Value Stream Mapping and detailed Process Analysis.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, including Six Sigma

These are the preferred skill set

• Lean Six Sigma Certification (Minimum Green Belt or equivalent)
• Strong customer interfacing experience
• Experience with Clusters or Heads Up Displays (HUD)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
