Currently, we are seeking a Mid to Senior Integrations Specialist to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:
Position Title: Mid to Senior Integrations Specialist
Location: LATAM
What you will be doing:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand system integration requirements for key applications (e.g., Paycor, Fleetio, Power BI) and translate these needs into actionable integration projects.
Gather and analyze business and development team requirements to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve efficiencies and processes through integration.
Design and implement integration flows and enhancements, particularly focusing on APIs and potential webhooks to connect the customer’s payroll, HR, and data reporting systems.
Provide ongoing monitoring and support to ensure stable performance of API integrations; troubleshoot and resolve issues, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
Effectively communicate progress, issues, and technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding and alignment across teams.
Follow established development, integration, and documentation standards, including the use of customer tools and portals as required for task tracking and reporting.
Requirements & Qualifications
3 + years of experience in system integration, with a focus on API design, testing, and management.
Familiarity with tools for API documentation, such as Postman or Swagger, and hands-on experience in configuring and managing webhooks.
Proficiency in connecting data sources to Power BI or similar data reporting tools is a significant advantage.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to self-manage challenges due to the customer’s limited internal tech support.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address potential challenges in data integration and API connections.
Knowledge of setting up and managing webhooks to allow real-time data exchange between applications.
Experience connecting data sources to Power BI.
Secondary Skills:
Bachelor’s or higher in Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative field preferred (advanced degrees are a plus)
No fear attitude of exploring data systems and developing the right-sized solutions.
Clear communication skills to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to clearly explain technical processes to non-technical stakeholders, providing reassurance and guidance on project progress and outcomes.
Strong collaboration and feedback-oriented mindset, essential for iterating with the customer on specific integration needs and performance.
